Experts on Best Green Building Practices

Build it Green is a nonprofit organization that works with building and real estate professionals, local state governments, and homeowners to increase awareness and adoption of green building practices. Their mission: to promote healthy, energy- and resource-efficient building practices in California through outreach and education.

Part of their mission has led them to certifying qualified contractors to become resources, educators, and building experts in their own communities.

Go Green Construction is one of the first Certified Build it Green Professionals certified by the organization, successfully completing residential green building certification training on the principles of green building and the systems approach to the design, construction and operation of residential buildings. The course includes topics such as energy efficiency, resource conservation, water conservation, and indoor air quality.

In conjunction with this nonprofit, Go Green Construction built a Green Point Rated home scoring 151 points, well above the average Green Point Rated home. Check out how, by visiting our case study home, Plymouth - Build it Green.
